Updates! 2026 April 30th

This month we have had quite the gruesome weather; from snow to rain to flooding… But I managed to get the Apple Trees Planted regardless, they came as bear root trees so they were good with the chilly nights after planting.

I have been raising appx 23 cornish crosses for meat- I will butcher them in 2 weeks for delicious chicken meat!

I managed to get a garden tractor but shes not big enough to till my 3 acres so, yet again I will be renting a machine to get er done…

This year I have Sweet corn that WILL BE READY BY JULY 4TH! I also have corn for September harvest, Tomatoes and sauce tomatoes too peppers (red, green and yellow), Eggplant (if my mom doesn’t get it all first lol) and of course pickle cukes! And I will be canning them this year too.

We have watermelon and Pumpkins for the late harvest, they will be juicy and delicious… The pumpkins are GIANT ones! Let’s see how big these babies get!

And Squash, acorn squash, a favorite! Oh, Almost forgot the carrots!

So - stay tuned to the blog for more updates!
